To establish UiTM as a centre of excellence that ensures the sound and effective management of its human resource, and finances and assets in order to achieve its aducational objectives, whilst playing a major role as a catalyst in community development .

A belief that every individual has the ability to attain excellence through the transfer of knowledge and instilling of moral values so to produce profesional graduates capable of advancing knowledge self, society and the nation.

Objective

• To provide maximum oppotunities for Bumipureta's to persue professionally-recognised programme study in science, industry, technology, business, arts, humanities .
• To provided quality and innovaties of study relevant to current market need and customer demands and in line with the policies of national development .
• To establish a university-wide human resoure development programme for instilling sound value system within the University community .
• To ensure that UiTM graduates are adequetely prepared to join the local as the international workforce .

To establish UiTM as a premier University founded on the tenets of schoolarship and acdemic excellence capable of promoting Bumiputera's dynamism in all professional fields of worl-class standards and producing ethical and globally competitive graduates.

HISTORY

Universiti Teknologi MARA Pahang history began with the establishment of a temporary campus in Kuantan. This temporary campus was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Pahang at the time, namely Dato 'Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak on January 1, 1985, at the Building Board of State Development (DARA) Jalan Telok Sisek, Kuantan. The establishment of this campus is in line with the efforts of the driver and ITM academic planners, led by Dato 'Othman Mansor as Chairman of the Council of ITM and Datuk Nik Abdul Rashid Nik Abdul Majid, Director of ITM.

At its inception, there were only a few courses only offered in UiTM Pahang. Among them are courses in Accounting, Business Diploma and Diploma in Bank Management. The first group contains the total intake of 225 students and 15 staff and 6 Administration Academic Staff to handle all of the courses are led by Dr. Nasuddin Pengetua.Jumlah bin Othman as this continues to increase to 1045 students and 74 academic staff and 93 administration staff.

A total of three residential accommodation available to cater for the students, the Youth Hostel and Hostel Dato 'Bahaman (for boys) in Jalan Padang Lalang and Apartments Hostel (for girls) in Jalan Bukit Sekilau.
